Display cases FAQs
Could I skip the cost of buying displays and just build them
myself?
You could do this, but it probably is not something that is advised
for most people. When you build your own, you may be able to save money
if you are skilled and knowledgeable about what it is that you need
to do. But the case for most people is that it is simply too much work
to do one of these displays by yourself. If you adhere to the belief
that time is money, you might simply rather order a wooden or glass
display. Of course, the final decision depends on how confident you
feel with building with your own hands.
How big should my trade show display be?
Traditionally, the approximate size of the area that most vendors have
at a trade show is something like about 10 feet wide and about 6 feet
deep. This varies, but it is a good estimate. If you use this estimate,
then you should assume that the actual display should probably take
up about half of this space. You want to allow room for yourself and
other employees. Likewise, you should also make sure there is enough
room for others to be able to gather around and take a look at your
display.
What is the biggest size display board I can get?
The largest display boards are actually quite a bit larger than most
people think. While many people think of a large display board being
about 10 feet wide by 4 or 5 feet tall, the truth is that you can get
display boards that are 20 feet wide by 10 feet tall. For all intents
and purposes, these boards can also be used as temporary walls. This
is most often very useful if you have a large display area that you
want to be able to break up into different portions.
