Display cases
Perhaps you think of display cases as something that only a few people would like to have to show off all of the medals and trophies that they have won throughout their lives. While it is true that these cases are good for this, there are definitely other reasons to have display cases.
Some of the other items you can use display cases for include:
• Model ships – If you are a collector of model boats or ships, it would be a shame to just get them and throw them on top of a shelf where it is hard for people to admire them. A case allows visitors to your home or office to take a closer look at what you are proud of.
• Antiques –If you buy antiques you are definitely going to want to be careful with them. The most careful thing you can do is store them away and never look at them, but if you do this, what is the purpose of buying them in the first place? You can take just as good care of them by buying specialty cases made to suit the antiques you want to display.
• Dolls – Some people have collected every Barbie ever made. Some people make their own porcelain dolls. While you may not need to go to such an extreme, perhaps you do have a couple of dolls with sentimental value. There are cases manufactured especially for the purpose of giving a person a place where they can showcase their dolls.
Of course, this is just a small sample of items for which you can use display cases. There are dozens of other applications as well.
